Dad,you have gone away and left us but you are in our hearts forever if I was granted a wish it would be to have you here for a few more days to say I love you,and you got your wish you passed away at home. we knew you were going to leave us
you suffered from Alzheimer's for the last 18months of your life i kept you at home with me Allan & Mum the doctors told me you only had a few days left pheumonia had set in it was heartbreaking watching you go the way you did. as you never knew your Family in the end and you were always a Family man so devoted and caring when you left you took part of me with you I miss you so so much Dad.you are not in pain any more your suffering is over. we will meet again and we will be together forever. your loving daughter Barbara and your son in law Allan xxx

Rather than his own

Of his young children and how they had grown..."
